Driade

The 'Driade' project was born in 2023 from the need to give voice to the more introspective and intimate world of singer Sonia Ziccardi. It features original compositions and arrangements, born in situations that allowed her to be surprised by the melodies and harmonies that the contemporary, jazz-influenced songs insistently suggested. In these circumstances, the need arose to "lay bare," accepting life's caresses and scars. Driade embodies the concept of mother-son dyadic union, in which the son and the mother coincide, and the mythological figure of the dryad: the beech nymph who embodies strength and flourishing. From this perspective, the compositions evoke a sense of belonging and respect for one's roots. "Driade" will be available digital platforms and CD from March 13 2026
